Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president of Nigeria, has urged members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), especially those in Ekiti, to maintain orderliness and civility as the leadership of the opposition plans on its next line of action in relation to the results of the just-concluded governorship polls in the state.
Abubakar said this on Sunday, July 15 on his Twitter page where he also assured party members of his unrelenting support and encouragement.
The former vice president also urged supporters of the PDP to cooperate with the party.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reported that Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Democratic Party (APC) had won the Ekiti state gubernatorial elections.
The former minister and governor defeats Professor Olusola Eleka, the current deputy governor of Ekiti state and the anointed candidate of Governor Ayodele Fayose.
From the results of the 16 local government areas in the state, Fayemi defeated Prof. Kolapo Olusola in 12 LGAs.
