Obama shows off his dance skills as he leaves Kenya after a 2-day visit

- The former US president was visiting his father’s ancestral home in Siaya county

- Obama was in the country to officially open his sisters Sauti Kuu resource centre

- He excited locals when he danced to a local tune

The former US president, Barack Obama, has proved he can get down and boogie better than most teenage slay kings.

The jolly former US president danced to the beat during his iconic visit to his father's ancestral home in Kogelo, Siaya County.

In a video seen by TUKO.co.ke on Monday, July 16, the father of two could not resist the sweet melody being played and decided to show the audience what he was made of.

His sister, Auma Obama, leaned next to him and whispered a few words after which the celebrated leader stood, held onto his coat and began to get down on it.

Of course, the audience cheered him on and recorded the whole incident as they laughed.

Obama took a seat and completely unsatisfied, stood up again and delivered a second performance as he danced for a little while then took his seat. The retired president concluded his two day Kenya tour.

He met with both President Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga on his first day of the visit.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reported that the secretary of state of the United States of America, Rex Tillerson, visited Nigeria and some African countries between Tuesday, March 6 and Tuesday, March 13.

The United States of America's department of state stated that Rex Tillerson, the nation's secretary of state visited Nigeria and some other African countries from Tuesday, March 6 to Tuesday, March 13.

The spokesperson for the department, Heather Nauert, said Tillerson also travelled to Addis Ababa, Djibouti, Nairobi and N’Djamena.
