- French champions PSG to battle Manchester United for the signature of Brazil star Alex Sandro
- United manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign a new defender to replace ageing Ashley Young this summer
- The Brazil defender suits his preference but the Parisians are said to have agreed terms with the player
Paris Saint Germain have reportedly jumped in the chase to sign Manchester United target Alex Sandro this summer.
The Brazil star, who missed out of the Selecao squad for the recently concluded Russia 2018 World Cup currently plays for Juventus and has two more seasons on his contract with the club.
Sandro has been on the radar of United manager Jose Mourinho following his plans to overhaul his team for competition next season.
Although the left back had a poor start last season but redeemed his image sometime as the season progressed.
Juve might not be willing to allow their man leave after losing Dani Alves to PSG last summer, while Leonardo Bonucci made the switch to AC Milan.
But the arrival of super striker Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in a £99 million deal will give them something to cheer about.
And they will need to recoup some of those funds and the sale of Sandro could plug any deficit.
The Sun quoting Paris United understands that the defender has agreed personal terms with the French champions, but that has not been confirmed.

After landing yesterday, Mourinho faces confusion over Alexis Sanchez's situation, with the Chilean missing the trip out to the West Coast with a visa problem.
NAIJ.com previously reported that Manchester United were favourites to land Juventus fullback Alex Sandro who is also wanted by Chelsea this summer.
The 27-year-old was snubbed from the Brazil squad that crashed out of the ongoing 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Though, he has two more seasons on his current contract with his Serie A side, he has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
