Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), has warned that no alignment of political parties will stand, except it gives Ndigbo the presidential slot in 2023.

Legit.ng gathers that he stated that a second term for President Muhammadu Buhari can be managed, if it can guarantee Igbos the presidency in 2023.

According to Ezeonwuka, this is a better option than following other sweet-tongued political parties and politicians who do not have the interest of Ndigbo at heart.

He said: “Any alignment that will not give Igboman presidency in four years time will not work. We can manage this madness called the Buhari administration for another four years, provided the south-east zone will get the presidency at the end of the four years.”

Ezeonwuka further pointed out that APGA was not yet part of any alignment with any other political party.

This development follows a previous report by Legit.ng, that Orji Uzor Kalu, the former governor of Abia state, said that Igbo people are committed to producing the president in 2023.

Kalu, who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said Igbos are also ready to massively vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019. He said this will pave the way for an Igbo presidency in 2023.
