Thierry Henry has already received several managerial requests from across the footballing globe following his decision to part ways with broadcasting giants Sky Sports.

Henry made the decision after managing to lead Belgium in the capacity of assistant coach to Roberto Martinez, to a third place finish in the just concluded 2018 World Cup in Russia.

According to Sun (UK), the former Arsenal forward turned down a KSh 1.3 billion offer to stay on as a Sky Sports pundit.

Belgium assistant coach Henry looks on ahead as Belgium prepare to face France at the World Cup semi finals in Russia.

The Gunner and France icon disclosed that his main reason behind refusing the offer was to focus on his managerial career.

Sources at the Daily Mail (UK), already claim that one club in the UK has offered the Belgium assistant coach a managerial position whilst two clubs abroad are also after his services.

The 40-year-old was even at one point considered to be in line to replace his former boss Arsene Wenger at Emirates.

Having inspired his team to a third place finish at the World Cup after failing to defeat his very own countrymen France in the semi finals, seems to have fueled the Frenchman's decision.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku has been described as Thierry Henry's "pet project" by Goal's Sam Lee.

The journalist was explaining how Lukaku's recent improvements have mostly been down to Belgium assistant coach Henry.

Lukaku who joined Manchester United in July, 2017, scored 27 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils. This summer he has become Belgium's all-time to scorer with 40 goals.
