- Sarri is equally considering other Chelsea players that Conte signed during his stay at West London
Chelsea new Italian boss Maurizio Sarri is set to overhaul the Premier League side with the offloading of former AS Monaco star Timoue Bakayoko, reports suggest.
According to UK Daily star report the former Napoli manager has decided that the France midfielder is surplus to requirement.
The 23-year-old Bakayoko was one of the players’ ex- Chelsea manager Antonio Conte signed at the start of last season.
However, since arriving from Monaco Bakayoko has struggled to adapt to life to his new environment.
The new boss who has already signed Italy’s Jorginho is set to send Bakayoko packing.
In addition, Sarri is equally considering other Chelsea players that Conte was instrumental in bringing to West London for the boots.
At the last count, the list includes Spanish forward Alvaro Morata in whose future remains in serious doubt since the end of his first season at the Premier League.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Chelsea are switching attention to AC Milan’s shot-stopper Gigio Donnarumma as Liverpool look likely to win race to seal a move for Brazil’s Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
According to UK Sun report, Chelsea new manager Maurzio Sarri is using personal contact to persuade Alisson to opt for a move to West London over a move to Anfield.
However, Liverpool are getting closer to sealing a world record £66 million deal with Roma for the Brazilian top choice.
