Meet gorgeous Grace Oyelude, the first ever Miss Nigeria, who recently turned 86

At 86, only a few women remain as stunning as the legendary, Atinuke Grace Oyelude, who was crowned the first ever Miss Nigeria in 1957.

The aged grandma recently clocked a new age and most Nigerians who know her celebrated the female icon whose beauty captured the judges through a mere photograph.

Oyelude had applied to be in the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant in the 50s by submitting a photograph of herself. The pageant started as a photo contest back then. Contestants had to submit their photos and finalists were shortlisted to compete in Lagos Island club.

Luckily, Atinuke who was working at UAC then was invited to Lagos to join the rest of the chosen contestants to fight of the crown of the maiden edition of Miss Nigeria beauty pageant.

Grace boarded a plane and appeared in Lagos, after a careful decision, she was crowned where she had been studying nursing in Ashford, England. Instantly emerging as the first ever beauty queen in Nigeria.

Many Nigerians have joined in wishing the first ever Miss Nigeria a happy birthday as she grows gracefully and remains completely gorgeous.

Meanwhile, just recently, popular Nigerian beauty queen graduated from Winners Chapel Bible Institute in Jos, she is 23-year-old.
