Former president, Goodluck Jonathan, paid a visit to General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his Uphill home in Minna, Niger state.
The Nation reports that the duo met on Wednesday, July 18, where they had a private meeting.
It was reported that Jonathan came by road in a convoy of six vehicles.
Also in attendance at the meeting was a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2019 gubernatorial aspirant in the state, Alhaji Hanafi Muazu Sudan.
Although the subject of the meeting was not made public, there is speculation it is connected to the 2019 general elections .
Meanwhile, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo reportedly showed up at a rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state, on Monday, July 9, years after dumping the organisation.
The New Telegraph said Obasanjo made a surprise appearance at the mega rally organised by the Ogun state chapter of party.
The report said the event held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) complex in Abeokuta.
