Buhari in crucial meeting with loyalists from House of Reps

- President Buhari has met with some members of House of Representatives

- The support group were led by Kano lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin

- Buhari had on Thursday, July 19, met Senate president Bukola Saraki and four other APC governors in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari met with members of the parliamentary support group comprising of his supporters in the House of Representatives.

The Premium Times reports that the meeting was held inside the conference hall of the office of the wife of the president, at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

Legit.ng gathered that members of the support group are from the House of Representatives and are led by Kano lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin.

Those attending the meeting apart from the lawmakers include the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari; Attorney General and minister of justice, Abubakar Malami; and the national chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, July 19, met behind closed doors with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate president Bukola Saraki and four All Progressives Congress (APC) governors at the state house, Abuja.

The APC governors at the meeting included Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Aminu Masari of Katsina, Abdul aziz Yari of Zamfara and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun.
