Everyday for the thief, one day for the owner. Just recently, officials of the Lagos State Police Command arrested a former houseboy identified as Mayowa Ogunmola, who confessed to selling his master’s N10m Toyota Prado Land Cruiser for N50,000.
According to reports, Mayowa made away with the vehicle on July 18 and was immediately reported to the police by his boss, Femi Mayaki, who petitioned the Commissioner of Police Lagos State at about 11:30 p.m of the same day.
Mayaki who resides at William Care Street, Anthony Village, raised the alarm of his houseboy stealing his Toyota Prado SUV said to be worth about N10 million which also had in it some of his personal documents.

Upon hearing the report, SARS operatives were alerted and immediately started searching for the suspect. They eventually found Ogunmola in Ikorodu where he had escaped to after stealing the car.
During Interrogation, he confessed to giving the car to a Femi Ayoade living in Ijeba-Ota, Ogun state. According to the police, Femi was found and arrested and he confessed to selling the car to a certain Azee Ibrahim for N50,000.
The car was recovered from the buyer and all three suspects are now in the police custody.
