Chelsea reportedly accept a £66m bid from Manchester United for Willian

- Manchester United's a £66m bid for Willian has been reportedly accepted by Chelsea

- The Red Devils are favoured to land the winger after Barcelona's three bids were rejected

- Reports also claim the Blues captain Gary Cahill is also wanted by Jose Mourinho

Chelsea have reportedly accepted a £66m offer for Willian from Manchester United and they want Gary Cahill to come with him, The Sun quoting Tuttosport.

Jose Mourinho has been linked with the Brazilian for months but Barcelona have remained favourites to land him this summer.

The Catalans have had three bids rejected for the 29-year-old winger putting United in pole position to sign him.

According to Italian news media outlet, Tuttosport, Willian is set to become United’s fourth signing of the summer after an agreement between the Premier League rivals was agreed.

But Tuttosport also surprisingly reported Mourinho wants to bring his former Blues defender Cahill to Old Trafford this summer.

The England international is the shock new name to be linked with a move to Old Trafford as the club’s search for a new centre-back continues.

Toby Alderweireld of Tottenham and Leicester’s Harry Maguire remain the top two other targets for United this summer.

Spurs are believed to have placed a £55m price tag for the Belgian star, while the Foxes are demanding a figure in excess of £60m for their England World Cup star.

Tuttosport claim Mourinho is opting for the Chelsea veteran as the deal for Maguire and Alderweireld have not been agreed.

Cahill played under the Portuguese coach during the Blues’ Premier League-winning campaign of 2015.

The ex-Bolton ace replaced John Terry as captain of the club last season but it remains to be seen whether he will figure prominently under new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chelsea are reportedly frustrated holding onto their Willian after attempts to sign the midfielder have it the rocks.

The Spanish media outlet claim Chelsea are expected to sell the Brazil midfielder to Barcelona this week only for the club to break off talks to sign Bordeaux winger Malcom.
