Young female corp member, Linda Igwetu, who was shot dead by a police officer in Abuja finally gets laid to rest. NAIJ.com earlier reported how Linda died in the hospital shortly after she was shot by a police office on July 4 as she made her way home with a group of friends.
News of her tragic death went viral on social media. The deceased was said to have completed her mandatory NYSC program and was set to doing the passing out ceremony with her fellow members on July 5 in Abuja.
Young Linda however met her end few hours before she could cross another milestone towards becoming a functional member of the Nigerian society. Igwetu was laid to rest on July 28 in her hometown in Ukpor, Nnewi south local government area of Anambra state.
