Ronaldo's arrival shoots ticket sales in Serie A to 600 per cent

Price of some Serie A tickets have risen by a whopping 600 per cent since Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival at Juventus.

The 33-year-old completed a £90m move to Turin from Real Madrid after starring for Portugal at the World Cup.

The Portugal ace is arguably the biggest name in football right now and fans are desperate to watch him action in Serie A this season.

Juventus supporters will be able to watch him week in, week out as they go in search of an incredible eighth consecutive Serie A title and their first Champions League crown since 1995.

But supporters of other clubs are also keen to catch a glimpse of Ronaldo, and Tuttosport claims there are none more so than those at Parma.

Parma are back in the big time after being declared bankrupt in 2015 and forced to the play in the lower division.

And it appears some are keen to take advantage of their return to Serie A taking advantage of the presence of Ronaldo at Juventus.

The Old Lady will travel to Parma in the third game week, and ticket prices across the 22,000-seater are rising steeply.

The average price for a seat in the North End costs just £22.25, but the prices has now risen to an astonishing £158.40.

It was just £10 less than it cost for a season ticket during Parma’s last campaign, with some seats going for as much as £400 each meaning Ronaldo fever has spread in Italy.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported Crsitiano's Ronaldo's first competitive action for Juventus is expected to be Serie A opener against Chievo on August, 19.

The former Los Blancos striker will begin his quest to help win his new team win the Scuddetto, the Serie A and the Champions League with the Old Lady.
