Post UTME 2018 examination is highly important for everyone who wrote JAMB 2018 and wants to start higher education in Nigeria this year.

JAMB or Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board published the dates of Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2018 examinations. See also: Post-UTME screening prices must not exceed N2,000– FG

This Post UTME news was announced by Prof. Ishaq Oloyede at the time of Policy Meeting that occurred in Gbongan, Osun State. There were rectors of polytechnics, vice-chancellors of universities, provosts of colleges, etc at the meeting.

At the meeting Prof. Ishaq Oloyede said, “The leaders of the institutions agreed that the First Choice Admission Exercise would be conducted from July 2, 2018, to October 16, 2018; while the Second Choice Admission Exercise would be conducted from October 17, 2018, to December 17, 2018.”

However, JAMB 2018 exam date was from March 9 and March 17, 2018, so if you didn't take the exams, you may have to wait till the next one. We should remind you that 414,696 candidates scored above 200 in JAMB and 558,673 candidates scored above 190. See also, how to get original JAMB result.

Prof. Ishaq Oloyede reminded everyone that the scores released were not the cut-off marks, but minimum marks required.

Another important information, Federal Government warns that there will be sanctions for any institution that charges more than N2,000 for Post-UTME. There is still time for preparation, so don’t waste time.
