Nigerians can’t get a better person to lead the nation except for Buhari - Actor Kenneth Okonkwo

Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo has expressed his support for President Muhammadu Buhari.

The 49-year-old actor who plans to run for the position of the next governor of Enugu state noted that the president loves Igbos.

While speaking with a political group, the actor expressed that Nigerians can't get a better person to lead the nation except President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to the actor who stated that the president has passionate love for the Igbos, many politicians come into power because they want it for themselves.

He added that anyone who wants to come into politics should do so because they want to govern the country well.

Okonkwo said: "If you want to come to power, come to power because you want to give us good governance. Buhari has passionate love for the Igbos."

The actor further noted that he makes no apology for following President Buhari. He said: " I'm following President Muhammadu Buhari and I make no apology."

Okonkwo took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 18, to announce his intentions of running for governor. The actor who shared photos of his campaign posters, revealed that he won't be able to run without the help of God.

He wrote: “Without God, I can do nothing but with Him, I can do all things because He strengthens me. Join the winning team. By the grace of God, I am the next Governor of Enugu State.”
