- Arsenal beat Chelsea 7-6 after penalties in the International Champions League on Wednesday evening
- Rudiger scored for Chelsea early in the game and Lacazette equalised for the Gunners later
- Meanwhile, Morata missed a penalty that could have given the Blues the victory in the 15th minute but missed the penalty
Chelsea fans are reportedly tired of Alvaro Morata's misfiring and have called on the club to sell the Spanish forward.
The Blues were beaten 6-5 on penalties after playing 1-1 during normal regulation period in the International Champions Cup.
Antonio Rudiger opened scoring for the Stamford Bridge side in the opening five minutes of the game.
While Alexandre Lacazette late minute strike saved Unai Emery's blushes and stretch the game into penalties - the game which the north Londoners won eventually.
Youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi got behind the defence before being brought down in the box by Hector Bellerin, winning a penalty.
Meanwhile, the former Real Madrid forward was handed a glorious chance to double Chelsea's lead in the 15th minute through penalties but played the ball straight into Petr Cech's hands.
Newly appointed manager Maurizio Sarri has a lot to deal with as his number one goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has given the club an ultimatum.
The shot stopper has just one season left on his current contract with the west London club, while they may be able to keep Eden Hazard from joining Real Madrid as his deal with the club expires in 2020.
Sarri was hoping Morata can build on his 15 goal tally in the 2018-19 season despite the £60 milllion tag.
However, the Blues fans are tired of the Spaniard and would rather see the striker leave before the start of the season.
"Why would they let the worst one-on-one player in the world take a penalty,” one supporter wrote.
Another added: "If Sarri keeps playing Morata he will have zero sympathy from me after getting sacked in December."
While a third suggest the new boss re-think his transfer plans.
"Sell Morata please," they said.
Chelsea are taking on Arsenal in the International Champions Cup at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
NAIJ.com previously reported that Chelsea beat Inter Milan 5-4 on penalties in their International Champions Cup preseason tourney after playing 1-1 in the normal regulation period on Saturday evening at the Allianz Riviera.
Pedro Rodriguez put the Blues in front just eight minutes into the match after powering home a rebound from an Alvaro Morata's shot which was saved by Inter's goalkeeper.
The goal gave the Premier League side some advantage as they won a free kick at a vantage point in the 12th minute but Marcos Alonso failed to convert the chance that was handed to him.
