- Maurizio Sarri has expressed dissatisfaction on Willian's recent behavior
- The Brazilian winger has skipped training since returning to Chelsea camp
- The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to Barcelona and Real Madrid
Chelsea new caoch Maurizio Sarri is unhappy with Brazilian winger Willian for skipping training.
The 29-year-old delayed his return to the club after being given an extended holiday following Brazil’s World Cup campaign in Russia.
Reports claim Willian was unable to return last Friday – the date set by Sarri – because he did not renew his passport in time.
And this development came after Chelsea rejected a third bid of over £55million for Willian – with Real Madrid also eyeing a £100m double swoop for him and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Sarri admitted he would speak with the playmaker before the weekend.
He said: “I want to speak to him. I am not happy about this situation but before I answer, I would like to speak to him.”
Asked if he found it strange, the Italian boss replied: "I think so."
Sarri was speaking after the Blues' 1-1 draw with Arsenal in Dublin – where they conceded a leveller in the last minute of the match.
Petr Cech denied Alvaro Morata from the spot in the first half before German defender Antonio Rudiger headed home Chelsea's first goal.
Arsenal in-form striker Alexandre Lacazette sent the game to penalties and Cech saved from Ruben Loftus-Cheek to grab victory for the Gunners.
Chelsea will now face Premier League champions Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday in the Community Shield.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Chelsea are not convinced Willian's late return to camp was because of passport issues and reports says he could be forcing a move out.
The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona and Manchester United in the transfer window.
