Nigerian-born forward Chuba Akpom has left Premier League side Arsenal for Greek Super League campaigners PAOK Salonika in a permanent deal.
According to Emirates side official news handle, the 22-year-old moving to POAK on a permanent basis after spending the early part of this year on loan at Belgian First Division side Sint Truiden.
Akpom who was born in Canning Town, England joined Arsenal academy at the age of six but made his debut for the Gunners under-18 side when he was 15.
However, Akpom penned his first professional contract at 17 in 2013 and has experienced numerous loan spells with the likes of Brentford, Coventry City, Nottingham Forest, Hull City and more recently he played with Brighton and Hove Albion to gain promotion to the Premier League.
Earlier this year, Akpom joined Belgian First Division side Sint Truiden on loan.
During his stay at Arsenal, Akpom made a total of 12 first team appearances.
However, the switch to POAK is subject to the completion of regulatory processes the report further added.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Nigerian international Alex Iwobi has agreed a new long-term deal with Arsenal, The Sun reports.
The 22-year-old has snubbed interest from Lazio and will sign a new five-year contract worth around £70,000-a-week.
The Arsenal academy graduate will put pen to paper when the squad return from their pre-season tour after their game against Paris Saint-Germain.
