President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in London for a 10-day working holiday. Channels TV reports that the president left Abuja for London in the early hours of Friday, August 3.

It was reported that this was revealed by the president's special assistant on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, in a tweet on Wednesday, August 1.
He said that that in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, a letter has been transmitted to the president of the Senate, Bukola Saraki and the speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara to that effect.
