Embattled Manchester United superstar Anthony Martial is back with the Red Devils as the French star was sighted at the club's training ground on Friday.

The 22-year-old has fallen out of favour with his manager after leaving the club's preseason tour in the United States last week to witness the arrival of his son, Swan.

A decision that has forced the Portuguese born manager sanction his sale before the start of the Premier League season next weekend.

Martial has falled down the pecking order since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January 2018 from Arsenal.

Mourinho while reacting to the forward's failure to return to the US for the remainder of their tour, Mourinho told MUTV last week that: "Anthony Martial has the baby and after the baby is born - beautiful baby, full of health, thank God - he should be here and he is not here."

The Portuguese manager got angrier after his side were beaten 2-1 by last season's Champions League winners Real MAdrid on Tuesday night in the International Champions Cup.

When asked if Martial would be leaving the club this simmer, Mourinho said: "Anthony Martial is better for Karen [United's press officer] to answer if she wants to answer."

Pressed on whether Martial would be part of his squad upon their return to Manchester and would only say: "I don't know."

The France international while replying his manager on social media said on Wednesday that "family will always come before everything."

Owing to this back and forth between these two, the manager has authorised the sale of the ex-Monaco attacker in the region of £70 million.

However, he might not featured in the Red Devils' Premier League opener against Leicester City as the club believe he has not trained enough to merit a place on the match day squad.

Martial joined his United teammates as they trained for the first time after returning to the UK ahead of their club friendly game against German League giants Bayern Munich in Germany on Sunday.

The French star has been linked with a move to join the Allianz Arena side but the club's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has denied the media report.

"We have four wingers: Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry," he told Bild.

"And Alphonso Davies will also join in January. You must not overdo it, like some clubs do, or you create a problem for the coach."

NAIJ.com earlier reported that Man United have slammed £180,000 fine and two weeks on Anthony Martial for failing to train since leaving the club's camp in America.

The France international left Manchester United camp in America to welcome his son Swan and he has not trained for eight days which has made Jose Mourinho livid.

According to the report by UK Mirror, the Red Devils' boss was expecting Anthony Martial to return for pre-season training in US after the birth of his son, but the Frenchman refused to travel back to America.
