This is coming a day after he announced his resignation as national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and left the party.

Meanwhile, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the appointment of Yekini Nabena as the acting national publicity secretary of the party.

NAIJ.com gathered that the appointment was contained in a letter issued on Wednesday, August 1, in Abuja and signed by the national secretary of the party, Mai Mala Bunu.

The letter said the appointment followed the resignation of the party’s national publicity secretary, Bolaji Abudullahi, who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) earlier on Wednesday, August 1.
