Spanish champions Barcelona are due to make public the signing of Senegal and KAS Eupen defence ace Moussa Wague.
According to a Tribal Football report citing sources at Sport, revealed the Senegalese fullback was one of the shining lights for the Teranga Lions during the global football fiesta in Russia and his performance was enough for the Camp Nou eggheads to offer him a deal in the ongoing summer transfers to firm up their interest.
The report further revealed that Wague jetted into Barcelona yesterday afternoon and is expected to seal his switch today.
The Senegalese international is expected to join Barca B, but will train with coach Ernesto Valverde's first team.
The club’s management see the youngster as a genuine challenger to senior fullbacks Nelson Semedo and Sergi Roberto in the course of the new campaign.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Barcelona have reportedly completed the signing of Chile international Arturo Vidal from German club Bayern Munich.
The 31-year-old is reported to have agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants after being told he could leave Bayern Munich according to the report by UK Sun.
