Premier League returnees are plotting season-long loan move for Real Madrid defender Theo Hernandez.
According to a UK Sun report, The Cottagers are willing to offer the Spanish giants £1.75million to bring the defender to West London.
The Premier League new boys are facing tough battle for the 20-year-old from La Liga side Real Sociedad but the Londoners appear to be on the front foot after agreeing to pay his salary in full with the period.
On the other hand, Sociedad can’t splash out his wages, estimated to be around £40,000-a-week, and are demanding the Los Blancos to cough out half of his wages.
The Marseille-born Hernandez joined the Galaticos in a six-year deal in 2017 from neighbours Atletico Madrid.
At the last count, Hernandez featured in 23 games for Los Blancos under former manager Zinedine Zidane.
Recently, after featuring for Real Madrid during the International Champions Cup defeat to Manchester United, new coach Julen Lopetegui reportedly declared the youngster surplus to requirements.
However, if the switch fails to see the light of the day, Fulham are targeting Eintracht Frankfurt defender Jetro Willems as an potential option.
The 24-year-old Willems, 24 moved to the Bundesliga from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven for £6m last year where he has played 28 times for the German outfit.
The report further added that Fulham are equally making moves for Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet.
At the moment, the Cottagers have sealed deals for Jean Michael-Seri, Maxime Le Marchand and Fabri.
In addition they have former Chelsea forward Andre Schurrle who joined on a two-year loan deal as well as the duo of Alfie Mawson from Swansea alongside Newcastle’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.
