England World Cup stars duo Marcus Rashford and Phil Jones have commenced training with Manchester United today at their training base in Carrington after cutting short their Post-World Cup holidays.

According to a UK Sun report, the Three Lions World Cup stars were handed an extended vacation after participating at the global football fiesta in Russia, but have now listened to their call from Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho to return to training earlier ahead of the new campaign.

A desperate Mourinho pleaded with his missing stars to return to England before their Premier League opening fixture against Leicester next week.

"I just hope that the boys that are on deserved holidays, they take care about themselves a little bit.

"And I hope somebody wants to do what Rashford and Phil Jones decide to do, which is to be back a little bit earlier to try to help the team because for the start of the season we are going to be a little bit in trouble,” Mourinho was quoted as saying.

While Rashford and Jones are back to pre-season training, the trio of Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard are still missing in action as they continue their holiday.

However, the 25-year-old Lingard is working hard to remain in the good books of the former Real Madrid manager after posting a short video of himself keeping fit on a treadmill on the social media channel.

On the other hand, ex-Brighton loanee and Rashford remained in shape by running along the beach in Miami during their holiday in America together.

In addition, Anthony Martial has teamed up with the squad after he failed to re-join the Red Devils in the US following the birth of his son Swan.
