National coordinator of the Buhari/Osinbajo Again (BOA), Yahya Hammajulde has reportedly defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
BOA, a political pressure group whose mandate is to canvass support for the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari is reportedly sponsored by some aides and supporters of the President, including former secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal and Senator Mohammed Abubakar Mo-Allahyidi.
Sahara reporters claimed he has emerged the Adamawa state chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The ADC is said to have also harvested thousands of APC members belonging to former governor Murtala Nyako's political structure.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that the Nigerian government on Wednesday, August 1, said that the defection of the Senate president Bukola Saraki from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was a great relief to the party.
The federal government said that Saraki was always an opposition in the ruling party, who used his position as Senate president to frustrate the workings of the government.

The minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed, who stated this while briefing State House correspondents after the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), on Wednesday, August 1, presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Villa, said Saraki had become the greatest obstacle to the government.
