Chelsea eye move for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey

- Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey could be on his way to Chelsea before the close of the summer transfer

- His contract at the Emirates stadium will expire at the end of the 2019/2020 EPL season

- The 27-year-old midfielder has been playing for Arsenal for the past 10 years

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Chelsea who are lining up £35 million bid to lure the 27-year-old to Stamford Bridge.

The Welsh professional footballer has one more year left on his current contract at the Emirates stadium, and the Gunners could lose him for free in the next transfer window.

Ramsey has been playing for Arsenal for the past 10 years, and Gunners' next manager Unai Emery has made it clear that he is part of his plans in the coming season.

But according to the report by Express UK, the Blues are ready to convince Aaron Ramsey to leave the Emirates stadium for a move to Stamford Bridge.

Ramsey did reveal that his agent and the club are holding talks over a new contract but are yet to come to an agreement.

He revealed: "We'll see what happens, but my agent and the club are talking.

"I'm not sure exactly what it hinges on, I'm just leaving it to them to discuss and to figure it out but we are yet to come to an agreement,''.
