Manchester United Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho is planning last bid to sign Brazilian midfielder Willian from Chelsea ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.

According to a UK Daily Star report, the Red Devils manager Mourinho is likely to approve a £60m deal for the 30-year-old Brazilian on the day the transfer window closes, if that could see the Blues midfielder make the move.

The ex-Chelsea boss is keen on reuniting with his former Chelsea winger all summer, despite saying that landing forwards was not a priority at the Old Trafford outfit.

The Chelsea star returned late to West London for pre-season training due to passport issue before claiming there was a forged letter in circulation giving an agent the mandate to sell him.

Chelsea new Italian manager Maurizio Sarri then said he was confident Willian would stay but he remains a top choice on Mourinho’s summer target since Barcelona and Real Madrid opted out of a potential deal.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Chelsea new Italian boss Maurizio Sarri declared he had no issues with Brazilian midfielder Willian.

According to a UK Daily Star report the Selecao star is linked with a potential move away from West London to both Barcelona and Manchester United but returned late to pre-season training, no thanks to problems his passport.

However, after holding talks with his £70m-rated star yesterday the former Napoli boss stressed that all have moved on from the past.
