President Cyril Ramaphosa and his family travelled to Uganda recently to attend the marital union between his son, Andile, and his fiancee, Bridget Birungi.
The South African head of state was photographed enjoying the wedding ceremony of his son and the niece of former prime minister of Uganda John Patrick Amama Mbabazi.
According to The Sowetan, the festivities took place at Mbabazi's Kololo residence in the capital, Kampala.
NAIJ.com learned Mbabazi thanked the SA president for fulfilling the requirements set by the glowing bride's family.
"We would like to thank you for being trustworthy, for being dependable because you fulfilled the conditions. So, we are very happy to fulfill our part of handing over to you the hand of our daughter Bridget Birungi," the bride's uncle said.
Several photographs of the wedding ceremony were shared on social media, which included a couple of pics of Ramaphosa getting his party on.
Social media users praised the union between Rwakairu and Ramaphosa's son.
Social media user @nash2j wrote, "Opposition, gov't, judiciary and activists reunite at #RamaphosaBridgetKuhingira. Such ceremonies should happen more often. A peaceful country is what we all desire."
This is coming after a wealthy South African man revealed that he drives a truck in order to find true love.
