- Inter Milan have been offered Juan Mata by Manchester United
- The Spanish midfielder has not been having regular playing time
- The Serie A club are also chasing Luka Modric and Keita Balde
Manchester United have reportedly offered Inter Milan the chance to sign their Spanish midfielder Juan Mata.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Serie A giants are keen on adding a creative midfielder and they have been given an opportunity to sign Mata.
The San Siro outfit have been heavily linked with Real Madrid's Luka Modric and they also seek to bring Monaco's Keita Balde Diao back to the Italian top flight.
"The most concrete contacts have been about Keita Balde, a player they pursued while he was at Lazio," said Di Marzio.
"[Antonio] Candreva could be included in a deal with Monaco involving a loan swap, but all the parties involved have yet to give the green light for the completion."
Mata has been a United player for the previous three-and-a-half years, having arrived at Old Trafford in January 2014.
The 30-year-old has been a fine player for the Red Devils, winning the FA Cup, the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League.
The Spain international had an excellent spell with Chelsea, with the high point the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League win.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported Manchester United are set to offer Chelsea Anthony Martial for their Brazilian winger Willian to Old Trafford.
The France international is set for the exit as his relationship with boss Jose Mourinho has hit rock bottom.
