Two Premier League clubs Everton and West Ham are targeting Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater ahead of Thursday’s summer deadline.

According to a Tribal Football report citing sources at The Mirror, suggests Chelsea are keen to offload Drinkwater on loan, while Everton and West Ham are in the race to sign the former Leicester City ace.

The 28-year-old Drinkwater started five Premier League games for the west London outfit in a £35million move from the King Power Stadium 12 months ago.

Currently, the out-of-favour England international is reportedly surplus to requirements at Chelsea who are keen to loan him out.

Both the Hammers and Toffees are interested in Drinkwater.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that FA Cup kings Chelsea included midfielder Danny Drinkwater plus £30 million in offer to sign Ivorian forward Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, suggest reports coming out of London.

The former Manchester United ace was the Eagles star performer last term after netting nine times alongside five assists in 29 matches.

The 25-year-old has been repeatedly linked with a switch to Chelsea’s London rivals Tottenham for the past two seasons but nothing positive have been reached with Palace so far.
