The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomole, has accused the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of robbing Nigerians during its 16 years in power.
He leveled the accusation during an APC rally to receive Senator Godswill Akpabio into the party, which held in Akwa Ibom on Wednesday, August 8, The Cable reports.
NAIJ.com gathers that Oshiomole further accused the PDP of sponsoring confusion after being kicked out of power.
He said: “Please don’t be deceived. These are very tempting moments. Nigerians will know the difference between party A and party B.
“I ask you, if a seasoned notorious armed robber who has been robbing you for 16 years; they tripled the robbery, they digitised the robbery… when you kick them out of office, they sponsor confusion here and there.
“But the people are saying no matter how you sponsor, we can see behind the facts.”
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole called on members of the APC to ensure that they educate Nigerians on how the PDP allegedly looted funds during its 16 years in power.
Oshiomhole made this statement while addressing leaders of the APC in Edo state.
He said in part: “It is our task as party activists to painstakingly explain to our people in the rural areas to understand who dug the hole that led to what we are experiencing today as a nation, and the effort by President Muhammadu Buhari to gradually pull us out of that hole to the surface and begin to push and uplift us upward to that level in which every Nigerian will have to say ‘I am a proud Nigerian’.”
