Yemi Alade, a Nigerian Afro-pop musician has been announced as one of the artistes to perform at the upcoming Essence Street Style party set to take place in New York this 2018.
The 29-year-old singer who was born in Abia state, would perform alongside American star Teyana Taylor.
Alade who is known for her African inspired fashion as well as musical prowess, has had a great year with her hit album titled Black Magic. The album was released in late 2017.
On an Instagram post, the excited singer announced the good news. In her message, she referenced her new single Oh My Gosh to share her excitement.

She has also dropped some hit songs this year. Some of the singles are How I Feel, Elele and recently the Afro-pop singer dropped a new single titled Oh My Gosh.
The Essence Street Style block party is set to hold on Sunday, September 9, in Brooklyn, New York, from 12pm to 7pm.
NAIJ.com recently reported that the singer joined her colleagues in the music industry such as Simi and Falz, to react to the ban of Falz's hit single This Is Nigeria by the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation.
