- Maurizio Sarri says Hazard is happy to remain at Chelsea
- The Belgian has been linked with a move to Real Madrid
- Sarri signed Kepa Arrizabalaga and Mateo Kovacic from Spain
Chelsea new manager Maurizio Sarri has said that his forward Eden Hazard is happy to stay at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgium captain had been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and in July the 27-year-old said it "might be time for something different".
However his former Chelsea team-mate Thibaut Courtois joined Real on transfer deadline day on a six-year deal.
"Hazard is with us. It's not a problem," said Sarri.
"I have spoken with him three, four times, for everything. He never said anything about the market. He's very happy to stay here.
"Here the market is closed, so we cannot change important players now. It's impossible."
Hazard has two years left on his contract with the Blues but showed the stuff he is made of, scoring three goals in his country's third-place finish in Russia.
Since moving to Stamford Bridge in 2012 from Lille, Hazard has helped Chelsea win two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.
In June Hazard said he would "listen" to offers from Real Madrid, but added he could stay at Chelsea for "many years".
Sarri said he feels his squad is complete after adding goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and midfielder Mateo Kovacic before transfer deadline.
The Blues triggered Kepa's release clause of £71m to sign him from Athletic Bilbao, while Kovacic came in on a season-long loan with an option to make the deal permanent.
"We lost maybe one of the most important goalkeepers in the world now but we bought a young goalkeeper, I think one of the most important amongst the young goalkeepers in Europe."
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Chelsea new signings Kepa Arrizabalaga and Mateo Kovacic have both trained for the first time with their new teammates ahead of the Blues' Premier League opener against Huddersfield Town.
Chelsea smashed the world record move for a goalkeeper when they bought Kepa from Athletic Bilbao this week and added midfielder Kovacic on loan.
