If God appears to me and says sowing seeds does not work, I’d tell him seed works - Fatoyinbo

The topic of whether it is necessary for every Christian to pay tithe and offerings has been a controversial topic for a while now. Christians have shared mixed reactions on this topic with no winning side, except for the fact that everyone has faith in what they believe.

It could be this particular controversy that urged Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), to say he would tell God that sowing seeds work.

In a video recently released, the COZA pastor was heard telling his church members that he would tell God that sowing seeds work, if he appeared and told him it doesn't work.

He said: “If God appears to me, and tell me seed does not work.. I’d tell God, 'Thank you' but seed works."

Also related to tithes and offerings, NAIJ.com had reported that the pastor had told a congregation in Houston, Texas, to sow a seed of $1000 (N360,000).

He asked them to sow the seed to receive restoration and because the bible says the voice of the poor is not heard.
