Katsina by-election: PDP candidate scores 1 vote in Buhari’s polling unit

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured just a single vote at Sakin Yara “A”, Kofar Baru 3 in Daura local government area of Katsina.

Kabir Babba-Kaita who is the candidate of the PDP got just a vote on Saturday, August 11 during the Katsina north senatorial by-election.

Ahmad Baba-Kaita who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a member of the House of Representatives scored 206 votes.

Kofar Baru 3 is the polling unit of President Muhammadu Buhari.

It was reported that the APC candidate also won in the ward.

NAIJ.com had reported that Ahmad Babba-Kaita who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reportedly won the senatorial by-election in Katsina north which took place on Saturday, August 11.

He defeated five other candidates including his elder brother Kabir Babba-Kaita who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and had 59, 724 votes.
