- Marcos Rojo could leave Manchester United for Fenerbache on loan
- The Argentine defender has fallen out of favour with Mourinho
- The 28-year-old was not listed in the United's win against Leicester
Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo could be heading for the Old Trafford exit and a loan move to Fenerbahce.
Argentine international Rojo missed United's pre-season tour and was left out of Friday's squad for the win over Leicester.
The 28-year-old has clearly fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho and looks to be offloaded this month.
According to reports in Turkey, Fenerbahce are in negotiations with United over taking Rojo for the season.
Rojo's future appeared to have been sealed after being left out of the squad for the 2-1 win over the Foxes as Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly started at centre-back, with Luke Shaw at left-back.
And Chris Smalling and Ashley Young were Mourinho's defensive options on the left on the bench.
Rojo only made 12 matches in all competitions for United last season and appears to have dropped further down the pecking order in Mourinho's squad.
However Rojo was impressive with Argentina at the World Cup and he scored a stunning winner in his country's dramatic 2-1 win over Nigeria with a last-gasp strike.
Meanwhile, United got off to a winning start in the Premier League's opening weekend. Paul Pogba put the Red Devils ahead with a third minute penalty.
Shaw's got the winner in the 83rd minute strike and ensured Jamie Vardy's late goal was merely a consolation.
United travel to the South Coast on Sunday to take on Chris Hughton's Brighton who lost their first match to Watford.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that France midfielder Paul Pogba has cast fresh doubt over his Manchester United future by saying he would get fined if he really opened up about his happiness.
Pogba's relationship with Jose Mourinho appears to be the reason of not getting to terms with life at Old Trafford after the World Cup.
