Recuperating Super Eagles legend Obafemi Martins on Sunday, August 12, doled out wads of cash to fans at a popular beach in Victoria Island Lagos after the breach lovers abandoned their picnic activities to scramble for cash.
According to an instablog9ja video post, the fans in daredevil attempt to get every note splashed out by Obagoal, risked drowning as the heavy wind got its own share of Obafemi’s largesse.
Interestingly, the 33-year-old was heading for a cruise with his friends on board when they were accosted by a section of beach lovers, before deciding to shower love on them.
The Shanghai Shenhua forward is currently ruled out for action for seven months after undergoing surgery on a torn hamstring injury since April 4.
Already, Shanghai Shenhua supporters have continued to show love to Martins after his successful surgery.
In a video posted on Instagram, the supporters paid homage to the former Inter Milan and Newcastle United forward who led the Shanghai to their first FA Cup silverware last campaign after 19-year wait.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Obafemi Martins hopes of representing his country at the 2018 FIFA World Cup has been dashed after he was ruled out of action for at least six months.
Martins has been superb this season in the Chinese Super League, and many Sports pundits have been clamoring for his return to the Super Eagles ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
But according to the report by BBC, Obafemi Martins' club in China Shanghai Shenhua announced that the Nigerian has suffered a torn hamstring injury.
