- Barcelona will receive offers for Ousmane Dembele from £71million
- The France international was signed form Dortmund last season
- The 21-year-old has been linked with a number of top English clubs
Spanish champions Barcelona would be willing to sell their winger Ousmane Dembele for over £71million with the club remaining divided over his pedigree, The Sun quoting Marca.
The 21-year-old was signed from Dortmund a year ago for what could rise to a whopping £138m as a quick-fire replacement for Neymar.
But the Frenchman suffered a nasty hamstring tear after arriving at the Nou Camp and was out for months.
And since returning back to full fitness he has had many detractors unsure over how he fits the Barca mould.
According to Spanish news media outlet Marca, the Catalan club looked at his performances and behaviour off the field — and were inclined to sell Dembele.
Barcelona have since signed 21-year-old Malcom who plays in the same position as the Frenchman to provide competition on the wings.
Now that the Premier League window has been shut, potential suitors like Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are out of the frame — Barca have decided to make do.
Dembele netted the winner in Barcelona's 2-1 over Sevilla to clinch the Super Cup win on Sunday in Tanger.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that La Liga champions Barcelona came from one goal down to beat Sevilla 2-1 and win their 13th Super Cup title at Stade de Tanger in Morocco on Sunday.
Spain midfielder Pablo Sarabia opened scoring for Los Rojiblancos in the 9th minute but the referee needed to consult the Video Referees Assistant before allowing the goal to stand.
