Italian League giants AC Milan have completed the signing of Chelsea star Tiémoué Bakayoko on a season long loan deal.
The Frenchman moved to the Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2017 after an impressive season with Monaco after the 2016-17 season.
However, he failed to live to his billings as injury stopped him from shinning at the west London club in his debut season.
And the new manager Maurizio Sarri feels the 23-year-old is surplus to requirement - reasons he has been sent on loan to the Serie A side until the end of the current term.
Bayayoko joined the Blues in a five year deal valued at £40 million under the former manager Antonio Conte and scored two goals in 29 appearances for the club.
Meanwhile, the San Siro outfit have confirmed the arrival of the France international from Chelsea until the end of the season.
The club posted on their official website that: "AC Milan announces that he has acquired from Chelsea FC the right to the sports performances of midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko.
"The French arrives at the Club rossonero with the formula of the loan with the right of redemption.
Chelsea on their end also confirmed the departure of the player they signed last summer, saying: "The French midfielder made 43 appearances for the Blues last season after joining from Monaco.
"He scored three goals and helped us win the FA Cup final, playing the full 90 minutes as we beat Manchester United at Wembley.
"The 23-year-old now makes the temporary switch to the Serie A side who are managed by Gennaro Gattuso and are competing in the Europa League this season.

Last season, the 23-year-old player joined the Stamford Bridge club from Monaco, and he played 25 Premier League games in his first season with the Blues.
Bakayoko also helped Chelsea to win the English FA Cup and his performances have caught the attention of AC Milan chiefs according to Sky Sports.
