Police were on Tuesday morning, August 14, called to visit Arsenal's Emirates stadium after being alerted to a suspect package in which roads were closed.
The security were forced to close off part of the Benwell Road after a suspicious package was found.
According to the report by Mirror UK, the issue was swiftly dealt with at the Emirates stadium.
Although Arsenal have refused to comment, but those who live in the surrounding area have been told the issue has been dealt with and there is no reason to be alarmed.
