- Sampdoria are set to make an offer for Chelsea star Tammy Abraham
- The England international played on loan for Swansea last season
- The 20-year-old has been frozen out of Maurizio Sarri's squad this term
Serie A side Sampdoria are reported to be interested in the signing of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer.
According to Italian media outfit Sportitalia, Abraham is a loan target for the Serie A outfit this week.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Swansea City scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 39 competitive games.
However he managed a stunning 23 goals in Championship play with Bristol City the previous year.
The England international is considered the more likely option compared to Zenit striker Sebastian Driussi.
Sampdoria need more steel in attack as veteran Italian striker Fabio Quagliarella is 35-years-old and both Gianluca Caprari and Gregoire Defrel are not the consistent in finding the back of the net.
The club will be looking to make a bid for the striker as the Serie A transfer window closes this week.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Turkish Super Lig club Bursaspor are set to face major competition from Spain in the race to sign Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo.
The Green Crocodiles have been closely linked with a move for the Super Eagles center-back over the past month and Bursaspor vice-president has confirmed the clubs interest in Omeruo.
