Spanish champions Barcelona on Wednesday night, August 15, defeated Boca Juniors 3-0 in their final pre-season game as they won the Joan Gamper Trophy.
This will be the sixth successive time that the Catalan giants will win the trophy ahead of the start of their campaign in the 2018/19 Spanish La Liga season.
New boy Malcom who joined from Bordeaux this summer broke the deadlock with his first ever goal at the Nou Camp in the 18th minute.
Argentina international Lionel Messi netted the second goal for Barcelona in the 39th minute after receiving a superb pass from Philippe Coutinho.
Rafinha made it 3-0 in the 67th minute after an assist from Luis Suarez.
Meanwhile, Barcelona will begin the new La Liga campaign at home to Alaves this weekend as the Spanish champions launch their defence of the League title.
