The European America University has decorated Prince Onyeka Nnadozie with an honourary doctorate degree of science in public and organisational leadership.

Nnadozie, known for his philanthropic commitments, is the chairman, Prince Osisioma Foundation.

The honour, the University says, is in view of the philanthropic gestures and administrative capabilities of Nanadozie, especially in Nigeria's education sector.

The event to honour the recipient was held recently at the Cyprian Ekwensi Centre, Abuja, and had the presence of top government officials, and executives in the education sector.

According to the University management, the year long achievements and recent supports from Prince Osisioma Foundation, through its founder has left sustainable impacts in the sector, thereby creating a need for this distinguished honour.

Responding, the recipient expressed great appreciation to the management of European America University, stating that their strengths and commitments to the success of the ceremony will be rekindled.

NAIJ.com gathered that Nnadozie has bagged several awards and recognition for his philanthropic engagements in Nigeria and West Africa.

He was recently honoured at the just concluded ECOWAS Youth Summit.

Just recently, a team of teenage girls who represented Nigeria in the Global Tech competition in Silicon Valley, USA, won the first prize after developing a mobile application called 'FD Detector' to tackle the problems of fake pharmaceuti*al products in Nigeria.

The girls defeated a team from the USA, Spain, Turkey, Uzbekistan and China to win the 2018 Technovation world pitch junior division in San Francisco, USA.
