The head of Police Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit (PPCRRU), Yomi Shogunle, has advised Muslims to hide Sallah rams inside their houses to prevent thieves from stealing the animal.
Shogunle who gave this advise in a tweet on his personal Twitter handle said keeping the ram inside the house is the only way ram owners can ensure adequate security for it.
He tweeted: “Seasonal ram thieves are on the prowl. Make sure you properly secure your Sallah ram at night. If you don’t have a fenced compound/yard, take the ram into the house with you when you want to sleep.”
