NAIJ.com gathers that Haruna stated that the division in the Gombe state chapter of the APC and the injustice meted out to him by the party's leadership, was what caused him to defect.
He lamented over the fact that he had been denied the opportunity to defend himself, after being unjustly suspended by the party, four months ago.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that the deputy speaker of the Kaduna state House of Assembly, John Audu Kwaturu, and the member representing Kudan state constituency in the Assembly, Junaidu Yakubu, defected from the APC to the PDP.
Kwataru who made the decision known through a phone call, said he had submitted his letter of withdrawal of membership of the APC to his Kwataru ward in Kachia local government area.
