Premier League champions Manchester City have confirmed that star player Kevin De Bruyne will be out of action for the next three months due to the injury he sustained in training.
The Belgium international suffered the injury during training on Wednesday with the Premier League champions initially unsure of his recovery timescale.
But on Friday morning, Manchester United announced on social media that Kevin De Bruyne has suffered lateral collateral ligament.
But the Citizens added that he will not need surgery and will be out of action for three months.
