Only a few things will leave you completely inspired like the story of Segun Ogundare aka Corporate Keke driver.
Earning the tag of the most unconventional keke driver you will see in Lagos or even Nigeria, the young man has used his rich heart to motivate thousands of Nigerians who have heard about him. They always say poverty, success and happiness are states of ones mind and for people like Segun who appear not to have the perceived luxuries of life, he has a rich soul that is contagious.
NAIJ.com first introduced Segun who is proudly identified as Corporate keke driver on social media when Nigerians experienced a ride in his customised tuk tuk. Everyone loves a genuinely good-hearted person who will survive against all odds, you can say Ogundare is a life teacher.
Not only does the young man drive a keke in suit, he also sometimes doubles as a motivational speaker on his Instagram page, where he drops wisdom nuggets and daily doses of inspirational quotes as he goes about his work.
Having earned the respect of Nigerians with his zeal and positive attitude towards life and his humble job, Ogundare is one of the most loved Nigerians on social media these days. Everyone who has come in contact with him has something to say.
Recently, a social media user identified as RXTata shared a photo of him and it immediately went viral with many people stating that his story is nothing short of inspiring.
Here's how they reacted below:
Among thousands of keke drivers scattered around several corners in Nigeria, Segun stands out for being a professional. Unlike most of his colleagues, he shows up to work everyday with his tuk tuk in a clean suit, clean shave and with a positive mindset.
The corporate keke guy has also managed to extend the care towards his tool of work as well. When NAIJ.com met the gentleman, the transporter not only had sweet bowls in his tricycle but a fan to keep his clients cool as well as air freshener to keep his customers happy.
It's not what you do but how well. Born into a family of seven, Segun, who hails from Osun state moved to Lagos in 2013. Like many people, he began his keke business as a means to get by but as a passionate individual, he decided to make it worth the while.
He revealed to NAIJ.com his dreams to someday turn his business into a corporate company, where he can own many more tuk tuks and ply many more routes around Lagos instead of just Surulere environs where he currently works.
If Segun's story doesn't teach you about being a passionate human, no matter what life throws at you, nothing else will.
