Most African mothers are known not to over pamper their children as they often maintain a level of discipline while raising them. This has led to many proud moments in some families.
A Nigerian mother identified as Agatha Benson took to social media to recount the story of how she once disciplined her daughter in the presence of her principal, her teachers and her friends after being disrespectful to one of the teachers.
Agatha recounted the occurrence on her Facebook page. She explained that her daughter and her classmates had disrespected a teacher while they were in elementary school.
Parents had been summoned and she made sure to discipline her daughter in the presence of her peers. Agatha had requested for a paddle from the school principal, and she whacked her daughter with it.
She went further to say that her daughter, who is now a Major in the US Army is now responsible for commanding other soldiers. Agatha also explained that her daughters whom she is responsible for training are now more disciplined than she is. Her daughter has obviously made her proud.
