Liverpool have reportedly defeated their Premier League rivals Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City to the signing of Ajax wonder-kid Ki-Jana Hoever.
The 16-year-old defender has since January this year emerged as a summer transfer target for these Premier League campaigners.
But according to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool chiefs have convinced Hoever that his future lies with them at Anfield.
He is said to have been sold on a move to Liverpool due to Jurgen Klopp's record of handing opportunities to youngsters.
Liverpool are now said to be waiting for his international clearance before he can play for the Premier League giants.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Premier League club Liverpool completed the signing of 24-year-old Brazilian football star Fabinho from French club Monaco.
Fabinho is a defender but can also be fielded in the defensive midfield role, and he was superb for the Ligue 1 side during his three-year reign at the club.
