Premier League campaigner Tottenham are plotting a £10million winter bid for highly-rated Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.
According a UK Sun report citing sources at Celtic are without Champions League football this campaign after AEK Athens stopped the Scottish giants from progressing during the qualifiers.
And have now suffered about £27m deficit after failing to reach the group stages of Europe’s premier club competition.
On the other hand, Tottenham reportedly snubbed Celtic's demand of £20million for the 21-year-old Tierney during the summer transfers.
The North London outfit became the first Premier League side that did not add a single player in their squad during a summer window since the deadline debuted in 2003.
However that does not mean that Tottenham never wanted to bring in new players.
The white Hart Lane dwellers are also having issues with their new stadium, after construction works delayed opening of the £500m ground.

The Premier League giants are now facing a serious fight to keep the 26-year-old Danish professional footballer who is also wanted by Spanish club Real Madrid according to Daily Star UK.
Eriksen's current deal at Premier League side Tottenham will expire in the next two years, and Spurs have been trying to persuade him to commit his future to the club.
